The Crisis Center's 2021 Christmas Bureau is Huge Success

Posted Thursday December 23, 2021

This year, the Crisis Center, Inc.'s Christmas Bureau served 47 families, including 65 children, with new wrapped Christmas gifts.

In order to coordinate this effort, staff work together to gather "wish lists" from clients who do not otherwise have a way to provide Christmas gifts for their family.  Staff then works to find individuals, families, and businesses to adopt families or provide new gifts that are on clients' wish lists.

"Our team did an amazing job coordinating this effort with our advocates, clients, and donors," said Kathy Ray, Crisis Center executive director.  "This effort would not have been possible without the dedication of our team and the generous support of our donors."

All gifts are wrapped and distributed beginning two weeks before and up until Christmas.  The Crisis Center's annual Christmas Bureau is a great way to give back and support victims and survivors during the holiday season.
